I think the Hall of Fame ballot should be extended. Voters should be able to vote for as many players as they want.
Pete Rose should be on the ballot. He is banned from Major League Baseball. The Hall of Fame is a separate entity.
My Ballot
Ken Griffey Jr - One of the best to ever take the field.
Mike Piazza - Best hitting catcher ever.
Jeff Bagwell - Power hitting first baseman.
Tim Raines - One of the best lead off hitters in the generation.
Edgar Martinez - best DH ever , it's a position
Barry Bonds - All time Home Run King , leave it at that
Roger Clemens - One of the all time best pitchers , 300 wins
Mark McGwire - One of the best Right handed home run hitter
Alan Trammell - Final year on ballot , Hall of Fame shortstop
Mike Mussina - Same stats as Jim Palmer
If I could vote for as many as I want
Curt Schilling - post season pedigree is unbelievable
Trevor Hoffman - second most saves
Sammy Sosa - 600 home runs
Garry Sheffield - 500 home runs
Lee Smith - most saves when he retired
Jeff Kent - Power second basemen
I believe that you should be allowed to vote for as many as you want.
