College Basketball Top Ten

Hey guys I am putting up a special article , I did not write it. It was written by David Prokop who runs a Radio show in Valpo. It is a local radio show and can be heard through the Radio App. They do an exceptional job. They do an especially great job in basketball. Here is a little preview of some of what David has to say and be sure to check out his radio show. They are a supporter of the blog and here is David's  basketball posts as a special guest writer for our site.

College Basketball has finally entered the part of the season when games start to get interesting. Conference basketballbrings a whole new style of play and factors to take notice of including: top ten teams now have to play true road games, conference rivals, mid-major teams hopes of hosting conference tournaments, and of course those crazy upsets that happen in late January and early February when teams rather stay warm andinside than travel on the road during the middle of the week.
As for now the top ten seems similar to every other year. Kentucky looks amazing finding ways to bring in young talent and mesh together to remain undefeated. Duke has one of the nation’s best freshman, who doesn’t seem to even realize he is only 19 years old. Virginia is taking the motto that defense wins championships and are applying it excellently, plus they are able to put some points on the board.
Those are your three undefeated teams remaining in college basketball, filling out the rest of the top ten are Wisconsin, Louisville, Gonzaga, Arizona, Villanova, Utah, and Texas (who lost on Monday.)
With all this being said, the top ten is going to change throughout the season, conference road games are no easy task, even conference home games can be a struggle as conference foes know your style of play better than others (just ask Kentucky about Ole Miss.)
As the season continues great teams are going to lose games, yes even Kentucky might lose, but don’t hit the panic on one or two losses, it is bound to happen.
The teams that make a run in the NCAA Tournament are the team’s that use all season to prepare for the tournament. Put your seat belt on, it’s about to get crazy.
