Stuart Scott- Cool As The Other Side Of The Pillow

We learned that Stuart Scott passed away on Sunday. Scott was a great anchor for ESPN. Scott changed the way sports anchors are viewed. Scott was just as big as some of the athletes. Scott gave you the highlights with such energy every time. No one can emulate Scott on Sports Center. Scott left behind a legacy that no sports anchor will ever have. Scott gave such a touching and amazing speech at the Espys last year. Scott made it clear that cancer would not and did not define him. He made it clear that he could not lose regardless of the outcome. He showed us that despite the outcome that he did not lose. You really learn things about a person from the way their friends , family members and colleagues talk about them. Scott was beloved. He was bold and he was flashy. Everyone is devastated by the loss but will keep his memory alive. Some fans loved him and of course there were his group of haters. Scott embraced them also. This shows you the kind of guy he was. For every kid playing sports , or even whiffle ball in the yard , when they make a great play or something cool happens and they say BOOYAH you know where and why they are saying that. For everyone that Stuart touched I am sorry for your lose and would say remember all the great that he did. There are so many great Stuart tributes but my favorite was when Rich Eisen did a whole set of Bengals-Colts highlights , in the way Stuart would have did them. Eisen and Scott were a dynamic duo on Sports Center. Scott also had a dynamic team with Scott Van Pelt. Hearing Pelt talk about Scott was just phenomenal and touching. Stuart Scott will be missed but never forgotten. Every time  sports fans here the cool side of the pillow you will remember and it will lead you to tell stories of the great Stuart Scott. Scott's memory will live through those he touched every day and those he touched mostly by just being himself.
