Fantasy Basketball: 5 Must-Haves from Your Waiver Wire

1.  Gorgui Dieng (9.5 points, 1.6 blocks, 1 steal, 2.1 assists, 8.1 rebounds, owned in 57.9% of leagues)

This second year big man must be snatched from your waiver wire before its too late. Even with limited minutes he still puts up great numbers, and is a great long-term option. He will especially help a team that struggles in blocks and field goal percentage. Adding Dieng with undoubtedly help your team immediately.

2.  Jusuf Nurkic (6.5 points, 1.2 blocks, .8 steal, .7 assists, 5 rebounds, owned in 18.4% of leagues)

Another must add player is Jusuf Nurkic. He has great size at 6 foot 11, which can help him on the boards. He is most likely headed into the starting lineup, which means he is going to be even more successful than he is now. He has started to heat up as of late although his averages may not show it. He has gotten 14 blocks in his last 5 games, which tops Anthony Davis's total in his last 5 games. He is a great rebounder and shot blocker. He also is a decent scorer for a big man.

3.  Rudy Gobert (6.3 points, 2 blocks, .6 steal.8 assist, 6.7 rebounds, owned in 25.1% of leagues)/ Enes Kanter (13.9 points, .4 block, 3 steal, .6 assist, 7.3 rebounds, owned in 33.3% of leagues)

Rudy Gobert should be added immediately because Enes Kanter is coming back from his injury. Once Kanter comes back, Gobert probably won't be putting up the same numbers he is now if he loses his starting job. I would suggest keeping the player who ends up starting. As you can see, the big men have been dominating the waiver wire so that is why they hold the top 3 spots on this list.  Rudy Gobert has been putting up great stats lately. He is a talented shot blocker and a good rebounder. Like Nurkic he has been blocking tons of shots. In fact, he has blocked 19 shots in his last 4 games.

4.  Mo Wiliams (11 points, .3 block, .7 steal, 6.6 assists, 2.1 rebounds, owned in 19.6% of leagues)

This veteran point guard has been playing excellent basketball. If you are struggling in points and assists, Mo is the guy you want on your team. In his past few games he has been getting lots of assists. He has also been scoring the basketball tremendously. In his last three games, he scored 23 points, 17 points, and 20 points. In those games, he shot 50% from the field. All things considered, Mo is a very productive player.

5.  Manu Ginobili (12.7 points, .1 block, .9 steal, 5.1 assists, 3.1 rebounds, owned in 45.5% of leagues)

Manu has been a great player for many years and still is now. He will help your team in points, assists, steals, 3 points made, and even a little in rebounds. Ginobili contributes to almost every statistic category. Every once in a while, Manu puts in a huge game like the one he did on December 31st, when he scored 26 points with 5 threes and 7 rebounds. Manu is a great all around player.
